These terms apply when you use EssayWiz at essaywiz.app. By signing in or using the tools you agree to them.
What EssayWiz is
EssayWiz is an online writing toolkit for students: an AI checker, plagiarism checker, grammar checker, paraphrasing tool, humanizer, essay checker and citation generator. It is a digital service. Nothing is shipped to you.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on EssayWiz under your sign-in.
Free plan and Pro
The free plan allows up to 200 words per check and 2 humanizes a day. Citations are part of Pro. EssayWiz Pro removes the word limit and costs:
- $5 USD a month or $39.99 USD a year, paid through PayPal (any card or PayPal balance), as a subscription that renews until you cancel, or as a one-time payment that does not renew.
- In India: ₹199 for 1 month or ₹1,499 for 1 year, paid once through Razorpay (UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, RuPay or Indian cards). These passes do not renew.
Pro switches on as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a minute. Prices are shown on the Premium page and at checkout before you pay. A fair-use daily limit applies to Pro to keep the service running for everyone.
Cancelling
You can cancel a PayPal subscription at any time in your PayPal account. You keep Pro until the end of the month or year you already paid for and you won't be charged again. One-time passes (including all rupee payments) never renew, so there is nothing to cancel. See the Refund & cancellation policy.
Fair and honest use
EssayWiz is meant to help you improve your own writing. Don't use it to break your school's academic integrity rules, to submit work that isn't yours, or to misuse, overload, copy or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Results
AI and plagiarism checks are estimates, not proof. They can be wrong, and no tool can guarantee how another checker, teacher or school will judge your work. Use the results as guidance and check your work yourself.
Your text
You keep all rights to the text you check. How we handle it is explained in the Privacy policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep EssayWiz running, but it is provided "as is", and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, EssayWiz is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms or our prices. Changes to prices never affect a period you have already paid for. The date at the top shows the latest version.
